New York Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek plans to alter his rotations after the 2018 NBA All-Star Break. Which lineups should he explore?

The New York Knicks have spent the 2017-18 NBA regular season walking the thin line between a long-term rebuild and a push for the playoffs. That’s consisted of the Knicks featuring their veterans and providing limited—albeit consistent—opportunities to the younger players.

With the arrival of the 2018 NBA Draft, however, has come a unique opportunity to hit the reset button on the current rotation.

Head coach Jeff Hornacek recently stated that he plans to change his rotations during the week of the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. The general plan is to feature point guards Trey Burke, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Frank Ntilikina over the course of the final two months of the season.

While that sounds promising in theory, the issue is piecing together lineups that make sense in both the short-term and the long-term.

Thus, as All-Star Weekend captivates the masses, the Knicks must be evaluating ways to diversify the rotation. Building for the future is the only rational approach at this stage of the season, and that entails a new set of lineups.

The question is: What are the five specialty lineups that New York Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek should utilize for the remainder of the season?
