The New York Knicks outlasted the Utah Jazz in a game that went beyond midnight on East Coast time. Who stepped up during the 117-115 win?

The New York Knicks entered Friday, Jan. 19 with a desperate need to get back in the win column. New York suffered an unforgivable loss to the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies just two days prior, and were hearing loud cries for a full-on tank job.

Matched up against a tough Utah Jazz team, the Knicks stood tall in the face of adversity and secured a critical 117-115 road win.

118. 117. 27. Final. 115

New York improves to 21-25 overall and 6-16 on the road in 2017-18.

The Knicks played the type of game that fans have become all too accustomed to witnessing. The defensive intensity fluctuated form quarter to quarter, the late lead it possessed was nearly lost, and the outcome was decided during the closing seconds of the final frame.

In contrast to the string of devastating losses that the Knicks have endured in recent weeks, however, New York survived this scare in Utah.

This was a significant victory over a Jazz team that entered the encounter with a 13-8 home record. A cast of unsung heroes rose to the occasion, including a pair of former college teammates who turned back the clocks.

The question is: Who stepped up for the New York Knicks during the exhilarating 117-115 road victory over the Utah Jazz?
