The New York Knicks secured a desperately needed road victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Who stepped up during the 119-104 win?

The New York Knicks entered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a desperate need to defeat the Brooklyn Nets. New York had lost three straight games, as well as 10 of its past 12 outings, and remained one of the worst road teams in the NBA.

With the odds stacked against them, the Knicks fought until the end and improved to 20-24 with a 119-104 road win over the Brooklyn Nets.

New York entered the fourth quarter with an 83-81 lead, but turned it up when it mattered most. It outscored Brooklyn 36-23 during the final frame, playing lockdown defense and creating beautiful ball movement en route to what became a blowout win.

Seven players scored in double-figures for the Knicks, which secured its fifth road win of the season, including its third in six tries.

New York buried nine three-point field goals and 26 free throws during what may have been its biggest win of the season. It also dished out 27 assists to just nine turnovers, and played outstanding situational defense in the fourth quarter.

The question is: Who stepped up to help the New York Knicks secure a desperately needed victory over the Brooklyn Nets?
