4. A Win For The Coach

When the New York Knicks hosted the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 3, a unique opportunity presented itself. New York blew its opportunity to secure a win for its head coach in 2016-17, but had an early shot at redemption and revenge.

With Jeff Hornacek out for a win against the franchise that scorned him, Kristaps Porzingis ensured that his coach would get the satisfaction.

Porzingis lit his 2016-17 rival Marquese Chriss up to the tune of 37 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks in just 31 minutes. He shot 13-of-22 from the field, 1-of-2 from three-point range, and 10-of-13 from the free throw line.

As is the case with most games on this list, Porzingis did his most significant damage by closing out the victory in the fourth quarter.

Chriss, who bordered on trying to fight Porzingis in 2016-17, had no answer for Porzingis. The Latvian phenom scored eight points in the fourth quarter, fouled Chriss out in just 17 minutes, and completed an and-one that sealed the victory.

The end result? Former Knicks star and Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler saying Porzingis has a chance to be the best player in the NBA.
