The New York Knicks will look to put an end to their road woes on Saturday, Dec. 30. What must New York do in order to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans?

The New York Knicks are entering familiar territory as the New Year approaches. After progressing through December with a winning record, the post-Christmas woes have returned to New York—or, more applicably, traveled outside of it.

With the Knicks staring down a potential four-game losing streak, they’ll look to right past wrongs against one of the most star-studded starting lineups in the NBA.

The Knicks will travel to the Big Easy on Saturday, Dec. 30 to take on the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center. It projects to be an entertaining game between two teams with wildly productive interior duos.

Unfortunately for New York, the entertainment factor may not be enough to right the ship as they attempt to improve upon an abysmal 2-12 road record.

The Knicks have a 15-6 record at home, but a 17-18 record overall. The 2-12 mark away from Madison Square Garden is tied with the Charlotte Hornets for the worst road record in the NBA—a troubling reality for a team that has postseason aspirations.

The season is far from over, but the New York Knicks would benefit greatly from defeating the New Orleans Pelicans. How can they get the job done?
