The New York Knicks have completed the first quarter of the 2017-18 NBA regular season. We hand out awards for the campaign thus far.

The New York Knicks have officially reached the quarter-mark of the 2017-18 NBA regular season. Despite entering the year facing low expectations, the Knicks have performed at a postseason-caliber level through 21 games.

Having completed the first quarter of the 2017-18 campaign, a question beckons: Who are the team’s award-winners at this stage of the season?

The Knicks have overachieved thus far, sitting at 11-10 through 21 games played. Much could change over the course of the next 61 games, but the Knicks are playing at a high enough level to be relevant in the postseason discussion.

Thus, unlike what may have been the case in previous seasons, the quarter-mark awards carry enough weight to potentially garner league-wide attention.

In some instances, the award-winners on the Knicks are at the heart of the conversation around the NBA. In others, they’re under-appreciated players who deserve to receive more respect than they’ve been given during the 2017-18 campaign.

The question is: Which members of the New York Knicks would win the five major awards if it were on a team-specific level?
