The New York Knicks will travel to play the Houston Rockets on Saturday, Nov. 25. What will be the keys to victory against the high-octane Rockets?

Perhaps the New York Knicks thought a dominant first quarter was enough to be able to look ahead to Saturday’s clash with the Houston Rockets. It certainly seemed that way, as the Knicks blew a 15-point lead in a devastating 116-104 loss to the lowly Atlanta Hawks.

Following the disappointing result in Atlanta, the pressure has mounted for New York to exorcise their road demons against the heavily favored Rockets.

New York enters the game against Houston with a 10-8 record, but is a mere 1-5 on the road. All five of its road losses have been by double-digits, including the aforementioned 116-104 collapse against the Hawks and the recent 107-84 disaster against the Toronto Raptors.

Many expect the road encounter with the Rockets to be a continuation of the Knicks’ misfortune, but there’s reason to believe they could bounce back.

The loss to Atlanta may have been the game that New York needed to realize that talent isn’t enough. It’s been committed to the system in 2017-18, but it may have received a wakeup call in the form of a loss to a team it’s so clearly better than.

The question is: What must the New York Knicks do in order to overcome the disappointment of the loss to the Atlanta Hawks by defeating the Houston Rockets?
