The New York Knicks will host the Sacramento Kings on November 11. What will the keys to victory be against the resurgent Kings?

The New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings are expected to finish the 2017-18 NBA regular season with similar records. While New York has doubled Sacramento’s win total through 11 games, the Kings have won back-to-back games over quality opponents.

As both franchises attempt to change their perception and reputation, they’ll have a chance to make further progress at the expense of their contemporary.

The Knicks and Kings have spent the better part of the past decade being ridiculed for their consistent mediocrity on the court. While New York has missed the playoffs in every season since 2012-13, Sacramento hasn’t reached the postseason since 2006.

The 2017-18 NBA regular season appears to be the first step towards both organization’s return to prominence, thus making Saturday’s game a significant outing for both teams.

In a unique twist of fate, Knicks general manager Scott Perry is at least partially responsible for both teams’ current roster structure. He held the position of vice president with the Kings before taking the general manager job with New York.

The question is: What must the New York Knicks do in order to defeat the Sacramento Kings and improve to 7-5?
