The New York Knicks successfully avenged head coach Jeff Hornacek with a 120-107 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Who stepped up?

The New York Knicks entered Friday, Nov. 3 with a unique opportunity to secure a win for their head coach. Jeff Hornacek, who was the scapegoat for the Phoenix Suns’ front office indecision and dysfunction, was looking for his first win over his former team.

The Knicks delivered in a major way, stepping up on both ends of the floor during a 120-107 victory over the Suns at Madison Square Garden.

120. 27. 107. 66. Final

While the Suns attempted to live in isolation, the Knicks moved the ball with precision and poise. New York dished out 24 assists, shot 52.3 percent from the field, and limited their turnovers in an efficient and explosive offensive performance.

On defense, the Knicks held the Suns to 34.4 percent shooting from the field and 28.1 percent shooting from beyond the arc in a truly tenacious display.

With the win, the Knicks improve to 4-4 on the season and 3-2 at Madison Square Garden. They’ve now won four of their past five games, including clashes with the Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Denver Nuggets.

The question is: Who stepped up for the New York Knicks during the team-building 120-107 victory over the Phoenix Suns?
