The New York Knicks hosted the Denver Nuggets on Monday, October 30. Who stepped up for the home team during the 116-110 victory?

The New York Knicks entered Monday, October 30 in a precarious position. New York had won two consecutive games, securing an impressive blowout victory over the Brooklyn Nets and a stunning 19-point win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Just one night after playing the Cavaliers in Cleveland, the Knicks returned to New York to make it three in a row with a 116-110 survival of the Denver Nuggets.

The Knicks entered halftime with a powerful 65-43 lead. Just as it seemed as though the Knicks were going to emerge with a convincing victory over another postseason-caliber opponent, however, the Nuggets dominated the third quarter.

Denver outscored New York 38-19 in the third, forcing turnovers and tying the game before the Knicks ultimately entered the fourth quarter with an 84-81 lead.

What transpired in the fourth quarter was a sign of New York learning from its past mistakes. After blowing a 21-point lead in a loss to the Detroit Pistons, the Knicks found themselves in a similar situation against Denver and remained strong throughout.

The question is: Who stepped up for the New York Knicks during the character-building 116-110 victory over the Denver Nuggets?
