The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics have a rivalry that dates back to the inception of the NBA. Although the two organizations are at different points of their respective rebuilding timelines, that rivalry will resume on Tuesday, October 24.

With both teams encountering their fair share of adversity, there’s no better time than now for the Knicks to stun the favorites to win the Atlantic Division.

The Knicks will play their second road game of the season when they travel to TD Garden to battle the Celtics. It will be a typical East Coast tipoff time at 7:30 p.m., and will be aired for New Yorkers to see on MSG Network.

New York flirted with victory during its only other 2017-18 game that was primarily hosted on MSG Network, and will now look to complete the process in Boston.

The Knicks opened the season on national television with a105-84 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Detroit Pistons defeated New York in the home opener on MSG Network, but the Knicks had multiple opportunities to win the game.

With a chance to stun a division rival, the Knicks will look to learn from their mistakes and secure their first win of 2017-18.
