The New York Knicks have made significant changes to the roster. Who are the Top 10 players on the 2017-18 depth chart and how should they be ranked?

Has there ever been a New York Knicks offseason that wasn’t filled with drama and craziness? In 2017, it all started back in June, when Phil Jackson stepped down as team president.

This one move set off a number of storylines. Would Carmelo Anthony still be traded? Was Kristaps Porzingis now off the trade block? Who would replace Jackson?

Before he stepped down, Jackson led the Knicks through the 2017 NBA Draft. The selection turned out to be French point guard Frank Ntilikina—a pick that wasn’t widely supported.

Many fans wanted to see the team take North Carolina State Wolfpack point guard Dennis Smith Jr. or Kentucky Wildcats shooting guard Malik Monk.

Free agency arrived, and the Knicks seemed quiet. Steve Mills seemed as if he was keeping the seat warm for whomever would be hired in the front office. Anthony was still waiting around for a trade.

Then, out of nowhere, the team signed Tim Hardaway Jr. to an offer sheet. At first, the response was optimistic. Then the contract details came out: $71 million over four years. Knicks fans were irate and the media was bashing the team.

Then Scott Perry was hired as the new general manager, and the team made a few minor moves towards the end of free agency. Finally, the Anthony saga came to an end.

The Knicks dealt him to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a second-round pick. The team is finally ready to build around a young core.

With Carmelo Anthony gone, Derrick Rose gone, and a bunch of new players, a question remains: Who are the 10 best players on the New York Knicks?
