The New York Knicks have signed rookie Luke Kornet to a two-way contract. Which players should he be patterning his game after?

The New York Knicks will utilize training camp as a tool to determine the future of the organization. The 15-man roster appears to be set in stone, but the Knicks are weighing their options for the two-way contract that remains available to them.

While that decision will weigh heavily on Jeff Hornacek and Scott Perry, one player has already secured a two-way contract: 7’1″ 3-and-D anomaly Luke Kornet.

Kornet recently completed a decorated four-year career with the Vanderbilt Commodores. A 2017 All-SEC First Team honoree and two-time All-SEC Defensive Team selection, Kornet set records and led Vanderbilt to resurgent success.

Kornet departed the NCAA as the all-time Division I leader in three-point field goals made by a player who stands at 7’0″ or taller.

In 2016-17, Kornet put the finishing touches on his legacy by leading Vanderbilt to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Shortly thereafter, the 7’1″ sharpshooting shot-blocker was signed to a two-way contract by the Knicks.

The question is: Which players should Luke Kornet be studying as he attempts to reward the faith and optimism displayed by the New York Knicks?
