Jabari Parker reportedly surfaced in trade talks between the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Milwaukee Bucks. How could New York realistically acquire Parker?

The New York Knicks have been making fruitless attempts to trade Carmelo Anthony for the better part of two months. The Houston Rockets have expressed significant interest in Anthony, but thus far, nothing has come to fruition.

A recent report implies that the Knicks may be swinging for the fences, however, which has thus birthed the topic at hand.

New York and Houston have been searching for a third team to facilitate a potential trade. The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly emerged as an option, with preliminary talks taking place before the three sides realized that traction couldn’t be made.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, the Bucks player who surfaced as a potential trade piece was promising young scoring forward Jabari Parker.

"The Milwaukee Bucks emerged as a potential third team at one point, per league sources, but there was no traction toward a deal. One name that came up in those (very) preliminary talks? Bucks forward Jabari Parker, per league sources."

Parker has endured his fair share of injuries during his three-year NBA career, but it’s fair to ponder the possibility of New York executing a trade to acquire his services.

Trade talks may have fallen apart, but it’s worth exploring the possibility of trading for Parker. The most likely path to such a trade being executed is via the three-team deal that was discussed in preliminary nature.

The question is: What would an ideal trade for Jabari Parker look like and how might the New York Knicks manage to pull something off?
