Westchester Knicks: Top 10 plays of 2016-17 season
3. Keith Wright For The Win
After playing four of their previous five games on the road, the Westchester Knicks traveled to Canada for their first meeting against the Raptors 905. Not only did the Knicks face one of the top teams in the league, who were 10-3 at the time, but they were facing one of the top defensive teams in the league as well.
On Westchester’s side, Doron Lamb helped lead the team on the offensive end, as he totaled 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. Damien Inglis was able to do a little bit of everything. Inglis recorded 17 points, five assists, three rebounds, three steals, and two blocks.
The biggest play of the game took place on the last possession of the game. With four seconds left in the game, Doron Lamb inbounded it to Damien Inglis. Inglis with baseline for a lay-up, but couldn’t get it to fall. Keith Wright tipped it off the glass and lifted the Knicks to a 108-106 win over the Raptors 905.
