10. Clutch Shot For Kevin Capers

In the Westchester Knicks first prime time game of the season, the Knicks took on the Delaware 87ers. Both teams fought hard in an attempt to pick up a victory over their division foe. In the final 30 seconds of the game, Cat Barber drained a huge three off a miss from Dionte Christmas.

On the next possession, Kevin Capers worked off a screen by Keith Wright and knocked down a mid-range jumper. That jumper was huge for the Knicks, as they took back the lead at that moment.

In moments like that, it took Capers back to his days at Florida Southern. He helped lead Florida Southern to a Division II Championship during the 2014-15 season. In the process, he recorded 24 points in the championship game en route to being named tournament MOP.

“It took me back to my Florida Southern days,” Capers said in February. “It was a great time. But then again coach [Mike Miller] left me in the game, which I’m not used to in the professional games. But it showed he had a little trust in me. If I made mistakes out there, I’m going to learn from them and that shows he has a lot of trust in us.”

Unfortunately, the Sevens walked away with the victory on that night.
