2. Two For The Price Of One

Early on in the season, the Westchester Knicks went on a winning streak just like the 2015-16 season. After losing the season opener to the Delaware 87ers, the Knicks tallied six consecutive wins, which was the most in franchise history. After six games, Westchester entered School Day with a  5-1 record.

Not only did the Knicks set a new attendance record with 3,341 fans at the Westchester County Center, but the fans were able to see a great game between the Westchester Knicks and Santa Cruz Warriors.

Both teams battled back and forth until final seconds of the game. With the Knicks trailing by one point, 98-97, Damien Inglis scored a huge bucket to give the Knicks the lead. That play in itself was huge.

But on the next possession, Keith Wright made a strong defensive play. While Phil Pressey tried to help lift the Warriors over the Knicks, Wright had different things in mind. The Harvard product denied Pressey at the rim and helped seal a victory for Westchester.

The Knicks walked away with a 99-98 victory over the Warriors. In the process, the Dub Knicks tied a franchise-high six-game winning streak.
