In the latest mock draft, Daily Knicks evaluates the top prospects for the New York Knicks and the rest of the NBA with a look at all 60 picks.

The 2017 NBA Draft is rapidly approaching and the New York Knicks are about to face their future. As two division rivals negotiate a trade that will severely improve their standing in the Atlantic Division, New York will attempt to keep the pace.

With the annual selection process rapidly approaching, the question beckons: What will the Knicks look to do and how might the teams around them improve?

The first domino has already fallen. According to multiple outlets, including Zach Lowe and Marc Stein of ESPN, and Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have engaged in trade discussions.

David Aldridge of NBA.com has since reported that the Celtics and 76ers have agreed to swap the No. 1 and No. 3 overall selections in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical corroborated the report and provided intriguing details.

The Atlantic Division just got stronger, and no team should be more wary of what’s transpired than the Knicks.

Playing in the same division as Boston and Philadelphia, New York must now be prepared for an uphill battle that could lats more than a decade. Thankfully, opportunities exist for the Knicks to make a splash in their own way.

The question is: How might the New York Knicks take advantage of this golden opportunity to improve their long-term future via the 2017 NBA Draft?
