The New York Knicks recently worked out 2017 NBA Draft prospect Jaron Blossomgame. Blossomgame would be a wise player to target.

The 2016-17 NBA regular season was one of the most disappointing campaigns in New York Knicks history. Despite possessing the raw talent to be a postseason-caliber team, the Knicks crumbled beneath the weight of expectations.

As Phil Jackson searches for ways to improve the team’s short-term and long-term futures, Clemson Tigers small forward Jaron Blossomgame has entered the crosshairs.

Blossomgame didn’t play for a traditional powerhouse, but cut his teeth in the vaunted ACC. He was one of Clemson’s most prolific players on both ends of the floor, earning accolades that helped shape his current draft status.

Blossomgame was named the 2016 ACC Most Improved Player and received All-ACC First Team and Third Team honors during his strong career.

For the Knicks, selecting Blossomgame would create an opportunity to make progress on both ends of the floor. There’s no guarantee that he’ll excel in the NBA, but the upside exists for him to become a high-level role player.
