15. Portland Trail Blazers – Justin Jackson (North Carolina)

The Portland Trail Blazers have three first-round picks the 2017 NBA Draft and are not likely to roster three rookies on an already young team. Expect the Blazers to use the latter two picks to either package, draft-and-stash, or look for a home-run prospect.

However, on the heels (no pun intended) of a National Championship, Justin Jackson provides not only depth on the wing, but brings in championship experience to a relatively young and inexperienced core.

16. Chicago Bulls – Justin Patton (Creighton)

The Chicago Bulls can go in a multitude of directions this draft, including blowing it up by shipping away Jimmy Butler. However, given the promising effort against the Boston Celtics in the first round, expect Chi-town to retool by adding a young piece to the frontcourt in Justin Patton.

With Pau Gasol and Taj Gibson in new locations, and Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis established at the 4, Patton fills in nicely as the backup center who can eventually replace Robin Lopez at the 5.
