4. Offensive Versatility

Justin Holiday isn’t exactly an elite offensive player, but he doesn’t have an identifiable flaw on offense. He can handle the ball, shoot from midrange and beyond the arc, facilitate in a pinch, and finish at a respectable enough level for a supporting player.

Holiday may not record gaudy scoring numbers on a nightly basis, but when he looks for his shot, he offers a surprisingly well-rounded option.

Holiday works well without the ball, thus finding openings within a defense to create his own shots. He made a career-high 97 3-point field goals on 35.5 percent shooting from distance in 2016-17, and should continue to improve as he further embraces the shot.

Holiday is also a skilled passer who can orchestrate the pick and roll, and help create steady and consistent ball movement.

When he’s given the ball in isolation, Holiday can operate with an intriguing measure of consistency and effectiveness. He can draw fouls, use his length to his advantage, space the floor, and even rebound relatively well.

Holiday is more efficient as an off-ball scorer, but he shot 42.3 percent from midrange, 47.4 percent on corner 3s, and converted well above the league average from straight away.

He can help the offense.
