New York Knicks: Underrated Pending Free Agents In 2017 NBA Playoffs
The 2017 NBA Playoffs is shining a light on a number of underrated pending free agents. Who should the New York Knicks be scouting?
If you’re a fan of the New York Knicks, watching the 2017 NBA Playoffs is likely a bittersweet experience. You’ve been exposed to a number of special performances by both teams and players, but none of those performances have belonged to the Knicks.
The one benefit of watching the playoffs without the Knicks being involved, however, is that the ability to scout players is less clouded by biased judgement.
As the first round comes to a close, it’s only fair to evaluate the players who are looking like strong fits in New York. Phil Jackson undoubtedly needs to acquire a wealth of talent, but this shouldn’t be a matter of pursuing anyone and everyone.
Thankfully, the Knicks have a number of players whom they can scout and evaluate during the playoffs and potentially sign this coming summer.
It would be easy to list the stars whom the Knicks should target, but the more difficult process is finding the right role players. Every system needs stars, but it also needs a supporting cast to plug in the holes.
The question is: which under-the-radar pending free agents should the New York Knicks be watching and scouting during the 2017 NBA Playoffs?
