New York Knicks: Under The Radar Players To Consider Trading For

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Victor Oladipo to a four-year deal worth $85 million. That contract will begin in 2017-18 and pay the former Indiana Hoosiers star an average of $21.25 million per season through 2020-21.
If the Thunder come to the determination that Oladipo can’t excel alongside Russell Westbrook, then a trade could be the ideal option.
If Carmelo Anthony wants a chance to compete for a championship in the last year of his current contract, then joining Russell Westbrook could be an ideal situation. He’d have a point guard who can create for him, as well as a competitor who matches his edge.
For the New York Knicks, trading for Oladipo could address the desperate need to add athleticism and upside to the backcourt.
Oladipo will turn 25 years of age on May 4, which gives him a healthy amount of time to live up to his full potential. He’s already a relatively effective scoring option who has the size, length, and athleticism to be an All-Defensive Team mainstay.
Oladipo may be a polarizing player at this stage of his career, but he has the tools to excel in the triangle offense and the upside of a perennial All-Star.
