The Point Guard Prospects, Part II

Lonzo Ball is another point guard who has star written all over him. Ball is often compared to future Hall of Fame point guard Jason Kidd. Ball can distribute, score, play average defense, and control the pace of the game.

Just like Fultz, Ball will likely be the first pick or second pick in the first round draft.

Some Knicks fans think Frank Ntilikina is a perfect pick, but would the Knicks take their chances? Ntilikina is an 18-year-old, 6’5″ point guard.

Ntilikina is a young overseas player who would need time adjusting to the NBA speed. Per NBADraft.net: “He is not NBA-ready just yet, but he has all the tools to become an exquisite player in the future.”

Ntilikina is perfect to address the Knicks’ awful defense, but the offense isn’t there for the young international player.

He would need to build more muscle mass to go inside the paint with the big boys. The NBA is filled players who can shoot threes. Shooting from long range isn’t yet a consistent strength for Ntilikina.

Ntilikina is not trustworthy yet. He’s a top 10 draft pick because all of the intrigue surrounding his offense and strength.
