The Point Guard Prospects, Part I

DeAaron Fox, who was certainly going to fall to the sixth pick before the NCAA tournament, may not be available after all. After his outstanding performance in March, his stock improved dramatically.

Fox would be a great complement to rising stars Kristaps Porzingis and Willy Hernangomez. He would help develop and polish both players’ respective games because of his passing ability. Fox knows how to control the game and run an offense.

Although Fox would fit in the triangle, it’s possible that he will be off the board before the Knicks get their draft pick.

Markelle Fultz is one of the best prospects in the past couple of years. Fultz equals high scoring on any team. He would enjoy playing for the Knicks.

Fultz came to Madison Square Garden on Sunday to watch the Knicks play the Toronto Raptors. He told reporters that it would be, “Amazing,” to play for New York.

Fultz believes he can execute in the triangle, but there’s no way he’d fall to the sixth spot in the draft. Fultz is out of New York’s reach. The young star will likely be the first or second pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
