One could argue that North Carolina Tar Heels small forward Justin Jackson is the only potential lottery pick in the Final Four. It’s unlikely that the New York Knicks will look his way with a Top 10 pick, but he could end up landing on the radar.

The Knicks are reportedly interested in finding Carmelo Anthony’s heir apparent, and in 2016-17, Jackson has earned the hype of a player who could fill that role.

Jackson attended the 2016 NBA Draft Combine and received invaluable feedback from the coaches, scouts, and executives in attendance. He’s taken that to heart and come back with the best season of his three-year career with the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Not only is Jackson averaging a career-best 18.2 points per game, but he’s made dramatic improvements as a 3-point shooter.

Between his freshman and sophomore seasons, Jackson converted a combined 63 3-point field goals on 29.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc. As a junior, however, he’s made 101 3-point field goals at a rate of 38.0 percent.

With North Carolina entering the Final Four as the highest-seeded team, Jackson has a chance to prove he can handle high expectations by winning the National Championship.
