The New York Knicks secured a rare win on Monday, Mar. 27. Who stepped up during the Knicks’ 109-95 win over the Detroit Pistons?

The New York Knicks are nearing the end of what’s been a disastrous regular season. Regardless of whom you believe to be the primary culprit, the Knicks have underachieved in the most egregious of ways during a once promising 2016-17 campaign.

On Monday, Mar. 27, the Knicks showed flashes of what could have been during a dominant showing against the Detroit Pistons.

New York outplayed Detroit on both ends of the floor, thus resulting in a commanding 109-95 victory. Detroit attempted to close the gap during the second half, but New York kept fighting until its lead became insurmountable.

If only for one night, New York reminded fans of why they were so optimistic entering the 2016-17 season: the talent level is postseason-caliber.

Though the Knicks played well as a team, there were a select few players who stood out from the rest. That’s no slight on those who didn’t make this list, but instead a sign of how brilliant New York looked against Detroit.

The question is: which players stepped up for the New York Knicks during the 109-95 victory over the Detroit Pistons?
