The New York Knicks need to improve through the 2017 NBA Draft. Which prospects made cases to be selected during the second round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament?

The 2016-17 NBA regular season hasn’t gone according to plan. The New York Knicks entered the campaign with high expectations, but have struggled to win on anything close to a consistent enough basis to compete for a postseason appearance.

With a lottery pick all but guaranteed to be in New York’s possession, it’s half past time to evaluate the top prospects in the country.

The 2017 NCAA Tournament is officially underway and the Round of 64 has been completed. With the field cut in half, the window of opportunity to scout the top prospects during game action is rapidly closing.

Fortunately, a number of prospects made intriguing pitches to NBA teams during what was an eventful second round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

In some instances, projected lottery picks were downright phenomenal, taking advantage of their opportunity to establish their legitimacy. In others, second-round prospects managed to rise to the occasion and improve their respective reputations.
