The Florida State Seminoles have been one of the better and more consistent teams during the 2016-17 season. Though depth and balance has been the key to Florida State’s success, it’s freshman Jonathan Isaac who has created the most reasons for intrigue.

Isaac has elite physical gifts and a well-rounded skill set that could result in his developing into a perennial All-Star in the NBA.

Isaac stands at just under 6’11” with a wingspan that ranges beyond 7’1″ and a standing reach that’s longer than 9’0″. For a small forward who has the skill set to play the position at the next level, those are overwhelming measurements.

Isaac also has a pure and unfiltered passion for the game that can’t be taught, as well as an advanced skill set that could be polished and turned into something special.

Isaac is similar to Gordon Hayward in the sense that he thinks the game beyond the basics of scoring and shooting. He splits double teams, plays the angles on the drive, and has an arsenal of moves that enable him to get his shots off against any caliber of defender.

If the New York Knicks are looking for a wing to develop behind Carmelo Anthony and alongside Kristaps Porzingis, Isaac would be a wise choice.
