The New York Knicks are building the future of the organization around big men Kristaps Porzingis and Willy Hernangomez. With the perimeter providing more uncertainty than reasons for confidence, however, the Knicks have been left in a position of uncertainty moving forward.

A recent report could spell out the manner in which the Knicks can either improve the future or solidify the perimeter in the short-term.

Trade rumors have persisted for weeks on end, but they’ve centered around starting small forward Carmelo Anthony. The latest development surrounds a different starter, however, and it could yield more realistic trade opportunities.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, starting point guard Derrick Rose is garnering trade interest from multiple teams around the NBA.

"Multiple teams view Rose as a potential trade target, according to league sources."

The question is: to which team should the Knicks trade Rose?

Rose is currently averaging 17.7 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per game. He’s doing so on a slash line of .462/.241/.865 and currently ranks in the Top 5 in the NBA in points via drives per game.

With an expiring contract and uncertainty as to how the Knicks will proceed at the point guard position, however, a trade could soon be made.
