The New York Knicks have completed the second home and home of the 2016-17 NBA regular season. After splitting the back-to-back against the Charlotte Hornets, the Knicks looked to grab two in a row over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With Minnesota hungry for redemption and New York hoping to achieve a record above .500, the Knicks secured a massive 118-112 victory.

The Knicks won the first leg of the home and home in Minnesota by a score of 106-104. That game was decided on a Carmelo Anthony game-winner, which elevated the pressure for New York to win in a more convincing manner.

It was a tough test on Friday, but the Knicks managed to pull out a more decisive victory than the game two days prior.

Zach LaVine led the Timberwolves with 23 points and Minnesota’s second unit scored a combined 47 points. The Knicks managed to improve to 10-9 overall and 8-3 at home, however, which guarantees a record of .500 or better at the quarter-mark.

The question is: who stepped up for the New York Knicks during the 118-112 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves?
