The New York Knicks are in dire need of a regular season victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Which players need to step up at Madison Square Garden?

The New York Knicks began the 2016-17 NBA regular season with a loss that could demoralize even the strongest of teams. After an excellent first half, the Knicks collapsed in the third and fourth quarters against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On Saturday, October 29, the Knicks will have a chance to get the season back on the right track against the injury-depleted Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies opened the season with a 102-98 home victory over the young and promising Minnesota Timberwolves. Mike Conley led the charge with 24 points in 30 minutes and Marc Gasol added 18 points and four blocks.

It was a strong showing for the Grizzlies, which have won at least 50 games in three of the past four seasons and made the playoffs in six straight attempts.

If the Knicks are going to secure their first win of the season, then a number of key players will need to step up
