Justin Holiday
Justin Holiday is an unproven commodity with a name that’s recognizable. He garnered hype during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 NBA seasons, but has yet to put it together in a cohesive enough manner to inspire legitimate faith.
The New York Knicks saw an underwhelming version of Holiday during the first half of the preseason, but he’s since stepped up.

Holiday continues to prove that he’s more than just a 3-and-D specialist. He consistently attacked the heart of the Brooklyn Nets’ defense, utilizing his size and crafty handles to get inside and finish in traffic.
Holiday also continued to show a proficiency as a passer, registering two assists in 19 minutes to bring his tally to nine dimes over the past four games.
Overall, Holiday recorded 14 points, two assists, and a rebound on 4-of-6 shooting from the field. He shot 1-of-2 from 3-point range and 5-of-5 at the charity stripe. Most importantly he scored eight of his 14 points in the fourth quarter of a five-point win.
It was another strong showing from Holiday, who has all but secured his place as the backup shooting guard entering the 2016-17 season.
