Marshall Plumlee: Tenacity

Position: Center
Age: 24 (7/14/1992)
2015-16 Slash Line (College): .688/.000/.575
2015-16 Season Averages (College): 30.5 MPG, 8.3 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 3.3 ORPG, 1.1 APG, 1.6 BPG, 0.8 SPG

The Duke Blue Devils have long been known as a school that produces soft players who are exceptionally skilled. Marshall Plumlee checks the box on being relatively skilled, but he’s a tenacious player who’s the furthest thing from soft.

A ferocious rebounder who competes defensively and isn’t afraid of contact, the biggest strength that Plumlee provides is his tenacity.

The ultimate testament to Plumlee’s strength, tenacity, and character is that he’s going to join the U.S. military after his NBA career. There’s no shortage of respect due to the men and women who fight to protect our country.

Plumlee is one of the men who will put it all on the line for his country, which will result in his earning the respect of the locker room.

On the court, Plumlee is a 7’0″ and 250-pound powerhouse who will throw his body around on both ends of the floor. He’ll crash the offensive glass and make the physical defensive plays that send messages to the opposition.

Plumlee is a hard worker.
