3. The Streak(s)

The level of dominance that Amar’e Stoudemire achieved during his first season with the New York Knicks is greatly underrated. Playing with a young and promising supporting cast, STAT fully embraced the need to lead by example.

It was during that time that Stoudemire had one of the greatest scoring streaks in franchise history.

You can’t argue those numbers, folks.

Stoudemire scored at least 30 points in nine consecutive games during the 2010-11 NBA regular season. During that time, New York went 8-1 and pulled itself up from being 8-9 to achieving a record of 16-10.

Dominant and impressive as that may be, it only scratches the surface of what made that streak so special.

Stoudemire didn’t just score at least 30 points in nine consecutive games; he had 26 straight outings with at least 20 points. Including the six preceding games, Stoudemire exceeded 20 points in 31 of a possible 32 appearances.

No matter how you may choose to remember Stoudemire’s time with the Knicks, there’s one thing you can’t deny: he had the longest streak of 30-point games in franchise history.
