4. Motor

The New York Knicks have built a roster that’s flush with all-out competitors and proverbial “Dogs.” In recent weeks, that term has been endearingly utilized as a way to describe the type of players New York has signed.

Maurice Ndour certainly fits the bill as a player who provides the breed of tenacity and effort that can swing momentum in critical moments.

Ndour is the type of player who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Whether he’s covering all angles of the court on the defensive end, attacking the offensive glass or diving for a loose ball, Ndour is willing to do it all.

That alone makes him a fit on a roster with the likes of Courtney Lee, Joakim Noah and Lance Thomas.

Though he’ll come off the bench, Ndour’s motor will likely intrigue both fans and the coaching staff. He has the stamina to remain active on both ends throughout a game, and the desire to do whatever it is that his team needs.

If all else fails, then Ndour would still fit the identity of the new-look Knicks as an all-out competitor whose tenacity breeds significant potential.
