In your eyes, what would be a picture-perfect offseason for the Knicks?

Elliot Gerard: Hmm… A picture-perfect offseason? Well, now that LeBron James won the first title in 52 years for Cleveland, he can make the easy decision to join Carmelo Anthony in his quest to bring the title back to New York. But that’s not likely.

Seriously, though, I have no idea what is going to happen. I would love to see them to sign Kevin Durant. I actually think KD, KP and ‘Melo would be a dominant trio. They would be a totally new type of front court that could end up winning it all if they had the right pieces around them. But I am not holding my breath on that happening.

Ultimately, I just hope we can get some solid vets to help Melo and develop KP. Either way, I am really excited to see what happens.

On a personal note, I really hope ‘Melo can get a ring with the Knicks. My grandparents went to Syracuse and the year Melo got them a title my grandmother died, so watching tournament games with my grandfather meant a lot to both of us. He’s since passed but I’ll never forget that championship run.

He would love to see ‘Melo in orange and blue holding up the Larry O’Brien trophy.
