If the 2016 NBA Playoffs have proven anything, it’s that championship contenders require interior depth. This isn’t to say that having an extensive talent pool should be limited to the frontcourt, but instead an acknowledgement of how important such a strength is.

Thus, while the New York Knicks may be strong at power forward, it’d behoove Phil Jackson to weigh his options in free agency.

As far as the starting lineup is concerned, the Knicks are as solid at power forward as a team could possibly be. Kristaps Porzingis put forth a marvelous rookie season in 2015-16, earning a unanimous selection to the All-Rookie First Team.

Beyond the 20-year-old phenom, however, is a sense of genuine uncertainty.

In the pursuit of the necessary depth, the Knicks will scour the open market and evaluate free agents. Big names are generally ideal, but the more realistic of options can be found in a lower tax bracket.

The question is, which realistically attainable power forwards would best help the Knicks?
