The New York Knicks were founded as a BAA organization in 1946. In the 70 years since its professional introduction to the sport, New York has become known as The Mecca of Basketball.

Thus, as one might expect, the standard for greatness is as high in New York as it is anywhere else.

When it comes to Knicks basketball, being on the proverbial Mount Rushmore is quite the feat. There are a number of ex-Knicks in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame, and even more have been immortalized in the hearts of fans across the world.

Collectively, those players would make one of the greatest teams of all-time.

One of the more popular activities amongst NBA fans is constructing a team’s all-time starting five. The activity requires some flexibility, but generally speaking, the starting lineup is constructed with players at their proper positions.

The question is: which legendary players would crack the Knicks’ all-time starting lineup?
