There’s a genuine possibility that French shooting guard Isaia Cordinier could be available in the early second round. There’s also a chance that he’ll come off the board in the late first round, which is why he’s listed.

Not many players are worth trading into the first round for, but if the price isn’t too steep, Cordinier would be worth the investment.

Cordinier is an athletic shooting guard who stands at 6’5″ with a 6’8″ wingspan and an intriguing jump shot. He’s improved tremendously as a shooter over the past year, as evidenced by his form, volume, and efficiency.

Cordinier still has work to do, as far as polishing his game, but he’s a very athletic player who can play above the rim, and the New York Knicks desperately need that type of presence.

Cordinier is lethal as a straight-line finisher and spot-up shooter, but he needs to improve his creativity and efficiency off the bounce. He’s a competitive defender, but needs to bulk up to overcome his average lateral quickness.

Cordinier will likely be available in the early second round, but he’s at least considering a trade into Round 1 for.
