The NBA community thinks highly of Kristaps Porzingis. Even the legends have taken time out to praise his potential.
New York Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis is progressively becoming one of the most polarizing men in the NBA. As an overnight success story in a major market, that’s to be expected.
For all of the negativity that non-Knicks fans may throw Porzingis’ way, those who matter most have been nothing but benevolent in their words for the first-year big man.
Those with extraordinary talent can’t always recognize or develop talent when they see it. Nevertheless, the opinions of the select few who classify as legends of the game are understandably cherished and held in higher regard.
They may not always be able to recognize talent in a front office or head coach role, but it takes a special individual to achieve what they have.
Thus, one can’t help but be intrigued by how many legends have come forth with praise for Porzingis. He’s certainly not flawless, but the 7’3″ anomaly has a unique combination of size, skill, and a work ethic that’s received unanimous praise throughout the New York media.
The question is, who has said what about the rising Knicks star?
