The New York Knicks are one of the most influential organizations in all of professional sports. Despite having not won an NBA championship since 1973, the rumor mill runs no more rampant than in New York City.

The 2015-16 season has been no exception.

Tuesday, January 5 will mark the date in which teams can begin handing out 10-day contracts. That’s a vital piece of information for Knicks fans, as the organization only has 14 of a possible 15 roster spots filled.

Cleanthony Early‘s injury absence creates an even greater need for a move to be made.

Whether New York acts via a trade or signs a free agent, it’s expected to get something done. Ian Begley of ESPN New York reports that the Knicks are interested in acquiring backcourt help, and he’s not the only one to have pointed that out.

The question is, which players have the Knicks actually been linked to?
