Madison Square Garden is in for a treat. With Anthony Davis listed as active and Carmelo Anthony in the same boat, two of the NBA’s most dynamic players will meet in New York City.
The question is, which All-Star will lead their respective team to victory?
Davis is a feared rim protector, but he’s as consistent a scorer as you’ll find in the NBA. He’s averaging 24.0 points per game in 2015-16, and tallied 24.4 points per outing in 2014-15.
After making three career 3-point field goals entering 2015-16, Davis has converted five in seven games.
Anthony struggled early, but he appears to have found his rhythm. He’s averaging 26.0 points over the past four games, shooting above 40.0 percent from the field in every outing.
If the New York Knicks are to overcome the New Orleans Pelicans, ‘Melo will need to outgun Davis at Madison Square Garden.
