For the first time this season, the New York Knicks will face a team that didn’t make the playoffs in 2014-15. After six consecutive games of unwavering difficulty, New York will host the Los Angeles Lakers.
While favored, New York cannot afford to let this game get away from them by way of overconfidence.
In order to avoid dropping to 2-5, the Knicks must play an intelligent and polished game. It’s still down Arron Afflalo, which means defeat is a realistic possibility.
The question is, how can the Knicks improve to 3-4 in their first game against a non-playoff team?
