1. Get Carmelo Anthony Going

Through two games, no bigger concern has persisted than Carmelo Anthony’s inability to find his rhythm. Not only has he struggled to put points on the board, but he’s missed wide open looks from all over the floor.

Anthony was 1-of-8 on uncontested field goal attempts against the Atlanta Hawks, per NBA.com, and 1-of-5 at the Milwaukee Bucks, per NBA.com.

Furthermore, NBA.com reports that 71.4 percent of Anthony’s field goals made have been unassisted. He’s just 1-of-10 in catch-and-shoot situations, per NBA.com, which is a very troubling sign.

Fortunately, those are very correctable flaws.

It’s very safe to say that Anthony will not continue to shoot 15.4 percent on uncontested field goals. He’s also going to be better than a 10.0 percent shooter off the catch.

The question is, can he shake the rust off for the New York Knicks’ clash with the Washington Wizards.
