The New York Knicks began the 2015-16 NBA regular season in incredible fashion. Not only did Derek Fisher lead his team to victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, but New York dominated the opposition on the road.
Led by Derrick Williams and a ferocious second unit, the Knicks pulled away for a 122-97 win. It was a massive statement on an evening during which Carmelo Anthony scored just 11 points on 4-of-16 shooting from the field.
The question is, how can the Knicks improve to 2-0?
Roughly 24 hours after a dominant win to open the season, New York will host the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden. The upside is that the starters received a significant measure of rest against Milwaukee, but the trouble is that Atlanta won 60 games in 2014-15.
In order to pull out the on-paper upset and avoid falling to 1-1, New York must execute in the following manner.
