22. Bill Cartwright

Bill Cartwright is most commonly recognized as a starter on three championship teams with the Chicago Bulls. Before he was playing with Michael Jordan, however, Cartwright starred for the New York Knicks.

Over the course of eight seasons, Cartwright established himself as one of the Top 25 players in franchise history.

Cartwright’s rookie season was something to remember. He made the All-Star Game in his first year in the NBA, and likely would’ve won Rookie of the Year if not for sharing his debut season with Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.

With five seasons above 15 points per game and two with upwards of 20, Cartwright was an offensive force for the Knicks.

The most impressive aspect of Cartwright’s tenure was his ability to maintain a remarkable level of efficiency. He shot 55.2 percent from the field during his time with the Knicks and made nearly 80 percent of his free throws.

At No. 10 on the Knicks’ all-time scoring list, Cartwright is still safe as one of the best scorers in franchise history.
