3-Point Field Goal Percentage: Jose Calderon
The volume debate is a fair one, but the efficiency conversation begins and ends with Jose Calderon. The 34-year-old is one of the most accurate shooters in NBA history.
From beyond the arc, Calderon has made 41.2 percent of his attempts for his career—No. 16 all-time.
In 2015-16, a down year for Calderon, he still managed to hit 41.5 percent of his attempts from 3-point range. That’s a trustworthy number considering he put up 3.4 3-point field goal attempts per game.
The season prior, Calderon sank 191 3-point field goals on 44.9 percent shooting from distance. It was his third consecutive season above 40 percent.
Arron Afflalo and Carmelo Anthony should give Calderon a run for his money, but the Spaniard is the clear favorite here.
