Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets‘ off-season has been comically hilarious to crosstown rival Knick fans, with the $25 million buyout of Deron Williams and then the signing of Knick rejects Andrea Bargnani and Shane Larkin. The Nets also traded away sophomore sensation Mason Plumlee for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Steve Blake on draft night.

Despite Williams’ decline due to injuries, the three-time All-Star was still the best option at starting point guard for Brooklyn. The Nets were most productive with Williams in their five-man lineup as per 82games.com. It remains to be seen if the veteran combination of Jarrett Jack and Blake will be more productive than even an injuries Williams.

The Nets just snuck into the Playoffs last season with just 38 wins…it is hard to envision Brooklyn returning with an improving Eastern Conference. Brooklyn should see a decline in games won and New York should easily double their pathetic 17 wins from last season. The Knicks should be the better team this season in the Big Apple.
