Afflalo shot 35% from three-pointers this year, 7% down from his percentage in 2014. Did Injuries and a team change have something to do with that? Probably.
Either way, the Knicks signed him to be a solid scoring and shooting option on offense and that’s what Afflalo has done for most of his career.
The Knicks ranked 20th in 3-point makes and 15th in 3-point percentage at 34%. If Afflalo can get back in a groove and find the 3-point stroke he had last year. He’ll fit right in and help the Knicks immediately in this area of the game.
